Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Why should I become a Network Associate?
A: If you hold a real estate license in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina but are not working full-time, you can activate your license with us. This allows you to earn income by referring your friends, family, and contacts to top agents worldwide on any type of real estate transaction.
Q: How do I earn a referral fee?
A: Simply submit your referral through our website. We connect your client with a top-performing agent in their market who handles the entire transaction. Once the deal closes, the agent’s broker pays Park Place, and we pay you your referral fee quickly via ACH or check. View an example here.
Q: What happens if I leave to sell real estate full-time?
A: Many agents leave and later return. If you come back within your renewal period, we will reactivate your license at no cost. You will also still be paid on any referrals that close within 365 days after you leave—unlike many brokerages that stop paying immediately.
Q: Do I get my own webpage?
A: Yes. We provide a personal referral webpage at no cost to help you promote your business and capture leads online. You will also receive a new construction search website that can be linked to your page.
Q: What does it cost to stay active?
A: The only cost is a $125 annual administration fee.
Q: Do you carry Errors & Omissions insurance?
A: Yes, Park Place maintains a company E&O policy.
Q: Which states can I be licensed in with your company?
A: We currently work with agents licensed in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. You can live anywhere and refer business worldwide. If you are licensed in another state, you may be able to obtain a Georgia license through reciprocity.
Q: What types of real estate can I refer?
A: You can refer residential, commercial, new construction, business brokerage, industrial, and property management transactions. Residential rentals are more limited.
Q: Are there tax benefits to keeping my license active?
A: Keeping your license active may allow you to deduct certain business expenses. Please consult your CPA for details.
Q: How do I know your company is legitimate?
A: You can verify our license through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Georgia Real Estate Commission, and the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. You can also review our online presence, testimonials, social media, and feedback from agents who work with us. We have successfully been in business since 2010.
Q: Can I earn a referral fee on my own transaction?
A: Yes. You can refer yourself, and we will connect you with a top agent. You will earn a referral fee once the transaction closes. We can work with your agents too just as long as they are ok with our referral fee.
Q: Can I keep my Realtor or MLS membership?
A: No. As a Network Associate, you will not be part of a Board or MLS, which helps you avoid those fees. However, you can remain active with another brokerage in a different state if applicable.
Q: How do you choose the agent for my referral?
A: We use market data and established industry relationships with the top companies over the last 15 years to ensure your client is matched with a top-performing agent. We can work with your agents too just as long as they are ok with our referral fee.
Q: Can I choose the agent I refer to?
A: Yes. You may refer to any agent or brokerage willing to participate. Our referral fee is typically 30% (25% for transactions under $200,000).
Q: Can I send referrals internationally?
A: Yes. We can connect your clients with qualified agents worldwide, although processes vary by country.
Q: Can you convert international commissions to U.S. dollars?
A: Yes, we handle currency conversion at no cost. Processing times may vary depending on the country.
Q: Why should I keep my license active?
A: An inactive license cannot legally earn commissions or referral fees. Keeping your license active allows you to continue earning income.
Q: How are out-of-state or international referrals legal?
A: Referral fees are paid broker-to-broker. The local licensed agent handles the transaction, and we do not participate beyond making the referral.
Q: Can I stay with your company if I move?
A: Yes. Many of our agents live outside the state—or even outside the U.S.—and continue to refer business successfully.
